The men’s basketball team took down Saint Francis University on Tuesday 69-66 to win their second NAIA National Championship in the last three years. Here is how the game went down.
Bob Peters (jr) led the way for the Wildcats with 20 points and five rebounds while Lane Mahurin (jr) scored 18 points and grabbed four rebounds. Jonny Marlin (sr) and Josh Mawhorr (sr) both chipped in with 10 points each.
The Wildcats were able to hold Saint Francis to just 39.3 percent shooting from the field, and Indiana Wesleyan shot 56.3 percent from three.
